The PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle Review

Video games are so integral to a lot of people’s lives. People just love escaping into another world, and in a video game, you have full control over someone else’s destiny. But with so many video game systems to buy these days, which should you buy and which should you avoid? To help you make your final purchase we are going to review the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle.

Features of The PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle

The PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle has been equipped with a lot of features to enhance your video game playing experience. The Vita, other than the PSP, is one of the most advanced mobile systems that has been created by Sony.

What drew us right away to review this product was its affordable price point. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to one of the newest consoles on the market, this may be your best bet.

This mobile system comes with dual analog sticks right on the pad so you can have precise control over the game you are playing. This makes it truly feel like a Sony handheld device, especially with the beautiful graphics, that definitely blow other handheld systems out of the water.

On the Vita, you are able to play games from a large catalogue of PS4 titles, and also games made for the Vista, with remote play technology. Imagine the ability to easily take your PS4 on the go, such as to a friend’s house or on road trips, and that is the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle.

The library of games for the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle is consistently growing so you are never going to run out of games to try. There are over 900 games available at the moment through the PlayStation Network that you can purchase and download directly to the device. This creates such a convenient way to play with the Vista, as you do not even have to go to the store to purchase new games.

This comes with a 5” OLED touchscreen system that allows for a perfect gaming experience and you will forget it is just a handheld device. The Vita System comes with state-of-the-art touchscreen controls, so you can also use those as well as the dual analog sticks.

This is the 3G and Wi-Fi bundle, allowing it to stay connected using the AT&T’s broadband network. This keeps you connected and allows you to easily search the internet, watch YouTube videos, watch Netflix, or go on social media. The dimensions of the product are 8” by 4” by 10”, and it only weighs 1 lb., making it easy to take with you on the go.

Pros

  • Can use both analog sticks and touchscreen
  • So many games to choose from
  • Can connect to Internet
  • Great visuals for handheld device
  • Affordable price

Cons

  • Older system on the market
  • Never really took off that much

Final verdict

Before we get to the final verdict about the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle, just something to note. Every video game enthusiast will agree that buying a system does come down to personal preference. Something you might like, might be the worst system ever invented when compared to someone else’s choice, and vice versa.

It all depends what you want to use that system for and the age group that is going to be playing it. We recommend discovering the games that you want to play and letting that influence what system you buy.

With that being said, we believe the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle is a pretty good handheld system, but is not the best. What we enjoyed is that you can use both the analog sticks and the touchscreen system to play the games. This creates a much stronger all-round handheld system.

We also really think the visuals are outstanding, something known across many Sony products, and that they are not lacking at all.

The real downside to the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle is that it never really took off. There are a lot of games for it, but it is now considered to be an older system. If you really want a Sony system, you should possibly consider the PlayStation 4.
